TIRANA, April 25 /ATA/- The supporters of opposition, during the protest staged on Thursday afternoon at the customs roundabout, “Shqiponja” square, have started fires which have burned the feeder F5 of 20 kV grid, disrupting the electricity supply to thousands of subscribers from the area of Vora to the entrance into the Ring Road.
Representatives of Electricity Distribution Operator (OSHEE) told the ATA that thanks to timely intervention of OSHEE crews, the energy was restored to one of the affected neighborhoods within 20 minutes.
The crews of OSHEE are working to repair the rest of the grid that supplies another neighbourhood of this area, according to OSHEE representatives.
