TIRANA, April 24 /ATA/ President of the Republic Ilir Meta appreciated on Wednesday the increasing role of Albanian community in Italy, highlighting the nomination of its outstanding representatives in the upcoming elections for main political parties.
President Meta received on Wednesday the Italian senator and representative of “Lega” party, Manuel Vescovi, member of Friendship Group Italy- Albania in Italian Senate.
Meta expressed his gratitude for the continuous support of Italy towards political, economic, social and cultural processes in the country as well as EU integration.
