TIRANA, April 23/ATA/-The Special Appellate College postponed for May 6 the session on complaint made by Rovena Gashi against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission for her dismissal from the office of the prosecutor.
The upcoming session of the Special Appellate College is expected to consider Gashi’s complaint for overturning the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission.
During last session on Thursday, April 23, Gashi presented the request for having her sister Ema Gashi as a legal assistant. The Special Appellate College decided not to accept this request because according to the Special Appellate College, Gashi cannot choose an assistant, but only an advocate or legal protector.
The former prosecutor Gashi was dismissed from office by the Independent Qualification Commission on July 25, 2018 because she failed to justify her wealth./j.p/p.s./
