TIRANA, April 21/ATA/-The students of Tirana University are enthusiastic that at last they will be able to get the student’s card by May.
The student’s card is another promise met in context of the government Pact with the University.
Thanks to the card, the students are due to benefit free of charge services and get things at cheaper prices.
Education Minister Besa Shahini and Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj launched last week the model of the card.
The journalist of the Albanian Telegraphic Agency interviewed the students of different faculties of the University of Tirana.
The students said that all the demands of the students’ December protest are being met.
“The students have many expenses. I am from Tirana and I support myself. The student’s card would be certainly a great help”, said one of the students.
The students can apply for the card at special offices to be set up in every faculty by May./a.g/p.s./
