TIRANA, April 19/ATA/- Olsian Çelaj is the first candidate registered to run for the position of General Prosecutor.
Prosecutor Çelaj registered his candidacy at the High Prosecutorial Council on Friday.
Çelaj is currently a prosecutor at the Prosecution Office of Serious Crimes.
Albania’s temporary General Prosecutor Arta Marku recently demanded his transfer to the Prosecution Office of Pogradec.
But, the High Prosecutorial Council voted by 6 votes in favour and 5 against and took the final decision ordering Çelaj back at the Prosecution Office of Serious Crimes./j.p/p.s./
