TIRANA, April 11/ATA/ – The Albania’s Defense Minister, Olta Xhaçka inspected Thursday the Tirana International Airport “Nënë Tereza” accompanied by the Head of Cabinet of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Brigadier General, Bardhyl Kollçaku, the troops deployed yesterday evening at the airport perimeter security following the serious incident on Tuesday, where masked and armed thieves smashed through an entrance used by the fire services to get access to the cash shipment and fled with the money, triggering a police chase.
“In addition to the troops deployment, we will also take military and security measures, in order to improve infrastructure for military, “ Minister Xhaçka stressed.
According to her, by law the guarantee of facilities would be in the function of NATO.
“There is no deployment of military troops.
