TIRANA, April 9 /ATA/ The health centre in Tregan (Elbasan) has transformed beyond recognition thanks to govt. investments in the framework of the programme for rehabilitation of 300 health centres countrywide.
PM Edi Rama shared on Tuesday views of this profound transformation the primary health service has undergone all across the country.
“Good morning and with the transformation that is taking place each passing day, one step at a time, all across Albania, I wish you a nice day,” Rama says.
Remarking on the investments that have been made, an inhabitant says: “There was damp and filth all over the place, today the situation has changed beyond recognition.
Dr. Skënder Berberi said: “Four years ago the staff worked in miserable conditions, thanks to investments we work in modern conditions today.”
The nurse of this health centre, Kaçe Çaçiu, recalling the conditions four years ago, said: the documents were stained black by mould and damp, whereas today the conditions have improved significantly.
