TIRANA, April 5 /ATA/ -The contribution of the youth to the country’s EU integration process was the topic of the dialogue that Director for the Western Balkans at the European Commission and chief of the Independent Observation Mission (IOM) Genoveva Ruiz Calavera held with the young people in Tirana on Friday.
Calavera delivered a speech during presentation of the EU-funded National Centre of Resources for the Civil Society during which she confirmed the EU support for the civil society within and beyond its borders.
Further on, Calavera said that promotion of the role of the civil society is a key pillar of the EU.
Calavera emphasized the dialogue of the decision-making actors with the civil society.
She said that establishment of the National Centre of Resources for the Civil Society is a great opportunity that will serve as a platform and as a means to increase further the efforts and build capacities of the civil society in Albania.
Calavera also spoke about the role and commitment of the civil society to the process of reforms in the country./p.s./
