TIRANA, April 5 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ “The DP programme will create internship opportunities for 10 thousand Albanian students who will receive hands-on training in the private sector,” DP head Lulzim Basha said at a meeting with students held in the premises of Tirana’s Polytechnic University Corpus.
At the conversation with students, Basha informed them about the internship opportunities included in the DP programme.
“In Germany, I happened to meet with 8 interns in German Bundestag. Out of 8 Albanian interns, two have started work in German Bundestag and all of them were selected through the internship programs designed by Bundestag for students coming from our region. This is not merely a priority, it is a top priority for our students. For this reason, we have foreseen in our program, on –the- job training opportunities for 10 thousand Albanian students per year. So 10,000 Albanian students per year will receive through competition hands -on training in private sector or in state institutions. ”
Basha told the students that his party would repeal the law on higher education and craft a new law up to European standards.
