TIRANA, April 3 /ATA/- The Albanian Road Authority is towards completion of another investment with view to improving the road safety.
In the tunnel of Shkopet on Burrel-Milot axis, with view to improving the road safety in this tunnel, 5 + 500 km in the segment Skuraj-Baz commune installation of road signage is well underway.
ARA announces that with the aim of guaranteeing maximum safety for passengers on all the axes of the country, we finish another important public work: installation of horizontal and vertical signage in the tunnel of Shkopet and the rest of the axis.
This investment entails the installation of around 70 linear meters of metallic protective barriers on both entries of the tunnel.
The measures also include installation of road signage and reflectors inside the tunnel, markings at the the entries and inside the tunnel, as well as signs on both sides of the road.
