TIRANA, April 2/ATA/-Agriculture Minister Blendi Çuçi said that the dairy farms will benefit 10 lekë more per every litre of milk they produce.
The minister made the statement during an interview on television on Tuesday.
Speaking about reduction of compensation on the inputs from 20% into 6%, Çuçi accepted that the milk production sector is penalized by this step.
Therefore, the government has assessed the farmer gets compensated with an additional 10 lekë for every litre of milk, said he.
Alban Zusi, president of the Albanian Centre of Exporters said that the decision is positive for the farmers. /a.f/r.e/p.s./
