TIRANA, March 28/ATA/ – We have to move forward, as we are in no hurry to pass the electoral reform, the Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama stated at the today’s plenary session.
In his speech, the Premier Rama expressed readiness to cooperate with the opposition on the adoption of electoral reform.
“We will find a solution, not here in the parliament but at the dialogue table ,” Prime Minister Rama said.
“We are here today to include all recommendations set by ODHIR in the Electoral Code, as the European Council says. The opposition also has refused to agree on electronic voting and electronic counting. I am against the electronic voting, but we wanted to find a way to reach an agreement, to even try electronic voting and electronic counting, and hoping that the opposition would probably accept the result,” the Premier Rama said.//a.i/
