Vlora’s new promenade stretches from Tunnel area down to Orikum

TIRANA, March 27 /ATA/- The coastal city of Vlora will be added another promenade, which will be the pride of transformed coastline in the four years to come.

This is what the mayor of Vlora, Dritan Leli, stated on Wednesday.

The new promenade stretches from the tunnel area onwards and has a length of 3 km, a project that includes a dedicated bicycle lane throughout the motorway. There will be a lane dedicated to pedestrians either.

Leli said that there will be dedicated routes that will not branch off from the main road enabling an easy access to the stunning beaches of Vlora in the area beyond the tunnel.

According to him, entire coastline will be standardized.

“This project will start from the area after the tunnel to end in Orikum. It is a new conceptualization that will extend Vlora’s current coastline by 20 km up to Orikum,” Leli said.
