TIRANA, March 27 /ATA/ – Amendments to fiscal legislation in the last years have reduced the fiscal burden on taxpayers and have been closely aligned with the govt. goals to stimulate priority sectors of economy or given categories of business.
Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, Elton Haxhi, has conveyed this message during a meeting with businesses in the capital. The meeting organized by General Taxation Administration has focused on national communication plan on public information and rollout of amendments to tax legislation in the framework of fiscal package 2019.
Deputy Minister stressed the fact that so far on national scale more than 25 thousand taxpayers have been informed through several channels of communication. Our primary aim is to disseminate information on legal framework and ensure tax compliance.
