TIRANA, March 21 /ATA/ – The coach of Albanian Football Team, Christian Panucci, told a news conference on the eve of the match against Turkey that Albania has all the chances to win.
Speaking highly of the Turkish national team, Panucci asked from his players to do their best in this match.
“With regard to Turkey’s strikers, our team has very good defence players who will do the utmost to keep Çalhanoglu and Yilmaz from scoring as I have seen them perform very well this week. The last time we played against Turkey, we won, so the players should put best of their efforts on the pitch during 95 minute play.
We respect them but are not afraid of them. It is true that they are a strong team, but if we keep pressing for 90 minutes, we will get a positive score for sure.
We know how difficult it is, yet we are full of hope, Panucci said.
The coach of national team spoke about the condition of the players involved in the national team.
“They have worked well. It’s a pleasant environment. The guys are ready to play this match. Let’s wait and see. Sadiku has joined the team, although he is not at his best, however we gathered players who have scored in their championships. Suffice it to score 1 goal to win the game. We have Sadiku, Balaj who has performed well, we have Grezda and Abazaj too, “he said.
