TIRANA, March 19/ATA/-President of the Albanian Football Federation Armand Duka received today the ambassador of Hungary in Tirana Lorant Balla.
They talked about the further cooperation in the field of football. Attending the meeting was also the Secretary General of the Albanian Football Federation Ilir Shulku.
During the meeting, President Duka acquainted ambassador Balla with development of the Albanian football during the recent years culminating with Albania’s historical qualification at the finals of the European Championship “France 2016”, investments in the sports infrastructure and the preparations the national team is making for the qualifiers to the EURO 2020.
Balla is a connoisseur of Albanian language and of the Albanians because earlier he has served even as ambassador of Hungary to Kosovo.
President Duka thanked the Hungarian ambassador for the support and care he has taken for promotion of the bilateral relations in the field of sports.
Duka also invited the ambassador to the “Loro Boriçi” stadium on March 22 to follow the match Albania-Turkey at 20:45 hrs, in context of EURO 2020./gj.mima/ /a.g/p.s./
