TIRANA, March 18/ATA/-Albania’s Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj attended in Brussels the German Marshall Fund (GMF) event titled “NATO at seventy – post-Cold War enlargement and the future of Transatlantic security”.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Albania’s accession into the NATO.
During the event, it was highlighted NATO’s open door policy with new memberships in 1999, 2004 and 2009 when our country joined the Alliance./e.caushi/p.s./
