TIRANA, March 17/ATA/-On occasion of the Summer Day, Tirana Municipality has organized more than 50 different festive events making the day more entertaining for the residents of the capital.
The Municipality invited all the citizens to attend the activities staged at « Scanderbeg » square, “Martyrs of the Nation » boulevard, the popular ex-Block quarter, the Grand Park, activities with a lot of fun, games and music.
The celebration of the Summer Day will continue all day long.
Summer Day is a traditional, pagan, Albanian holiday, celebrating the change from winter to spring.
It’s on March 14, but because of the weather the Municipality decided to celebrate it today. /e.caushi/p.s./
