TIRANA, March 17/ATA/-The local residents of Rreth Tapi village of the administrative unit Perondi in Kuçova will escape flooding of the lands caused by the Osum River in bad weather.
The government has accorded a fund and the works have already kicked off for building of the protective embankments on both sides of the river.
Prime Minister Edi Rama visited today Rreth Tapi village and saw from very close the works on protection from river floods as well as works on the irrigation canal in Mbrakull village.
During the last flooding, PM Rama met the local residents and promised protection from the river. The works started are due to finish in 60 days time making a reality the promise and protecting the lands and houses of the residents from floods./p.s./
