TIRANA, Sept 24 /ATA/ Roughly 1 992 530 have used air transport during 2018, marking a considerable increase compared to last year when 1 740 707 persons used air transport. The data are reported by Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Damian Gjiknuri.
According to the table published by him, the indicators of the first 8 months 2018 confirm that the number of air transport passengers during this year marked a considerable increase compared to last year.
Yet more bigger is the increase compared to the previous years with 1 397 943 passengers in 2016.
2015 saw 1 318 370 air transport passengers, whereas 2014 and 2015 respectively 1 000 448 and 1 173 539 persons. /j.p/sm/
