TIRANA, June 27 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ – The DP head stated that the truth of the matter is that accession negotiations with Albania have not been opened, therefore politics and govt. need to reflect to guarantee the European journey of Albania.
In his statement at the DP headquarters, the DP head, Lulzim Basha, said that the plain truth is that negotiations have not been opened, yet it was said that they will open by June 2019 if the conditions are met and if the output is verified by member countries, in some cases by their parliaments and European Council.
Basha added that the European Council which is slated to convene tomorrow will not review the issue of opening the negotiations at all.
