TIRANA, June 27 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, stated on Wednesday that EU member countries have charted the European journey of Albania whereas the opposition has not read through the European Council decision.
The Chief of Albanian diplomacy has reacted to opposition in connection with the statement made by DP head, saying accession negotiations with Albania have not been opened.
In a posting on his Facebook account, Bushati said that member countries have charted the irreversible path towards membership, time line as well as the steps and interaction instruments of Albania with EC.
Bushati stressed that opposition has not read the European Council decision over.
“Opposition in Tirana is boiling with anger. I would never accept that the party which intends to govern the country is upset about the encouraging decision for Albanians not for the govt. But I prefer to think the other way around that the opposition has not taken enough time to read through that decision,” Bushati writes.
