TIRANA, June 22 /ATA/- Greek minority in our country constitutes a linking bridge to relations with Greece.
Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Damian Gjiknuri, declared on Friday during a hearing with minority representatives in Kairahaxh, Saranda over the new law on minorities and subordinate legal acts that national minorities are irreplaceable bridges of traditions, culture and friendship.
Gjiknuri stressed that Albanian govt. has shown special attention to minorities highlighting the importance of law for national minorities.
Our challenge is to lure back the youths to build their future here, which is achieved through investments and promotion of economic development.
Minister of Infrastructure and Energy announced that mutual recognition of driving licenses is beneficial for both Albanians living in Greece and Greek minority in our country.
The minister took the opportunity to praise the support of Greece in integration processes of the country.
