TIRANA, June 14 /ATA/ – “Read and quit Violence, “are two clear directions of Islam that Jordan’s Prince Ghazi elaborates on in his book” Justice and Love,” an Islamic-Christian conversation.
It is with these directions that PM Edi Rama commenced his speech at the traditional Iftar table hosted at the Palace of Brigades in Tirana.
“Undoubtedly, these directions do not apply to Muslims or Christians only, but to anyone else, everywhere, just as the Iftar table here in Albania is not an exclusive space for those who fast, but for anyone, who gets an invitation on behalf of the big principle of love,” Rama said.
Our hundreds and hundreds-year-old religious fraternity is probably the greatest blessing which, after tests and disillusions, history has given to us as a soother for versatile wounds of coexistence, not that easy among Albanians,” Rama said.
Speaking about the terrorist Islamic organization Isis, Rama said hatred and desecration of Islam is threatening the fulfilled dream for freedom and democracy of our partners, especially the Europeans in prosperous spaces who live on values and glorious principles.
