TIRANA, June 8 /ATA/-“Shqiperiaqeduam.al”, known otherwise as the co-governance platform, resolved the long-awaited problem of an investor with the ownership certificate which hampered him to invest in a rural area of high tourist potential.
Following the complaint of the investor in the “Shqiperiaqeduam.al” platform, this barrier was overcome, but on the other hand it has also begun the administrative investigation to bring to responsibility the people who provoked this situation.
The Coordinator of the Co-governance platform at the Minister of State on Protection of Entrepreneurship Albana Pulaj confirmed the news.
“It is the case of a big business that had applied for registration of a property transaction, but didn’t get an answer for 10 month.
The entrepreneur who planned to invest in a tourist resort profitable not only for him, but even for the local residents was even penalized because of the delay caused by the immovable property registration office.
The co-governance platform carried out the relevant investigation and found out that the cause of the delay was the bureaucratic negligence in the local office of immovable property.
Under the auspices of Minister of State for Protection of Entrepreneurship, there is launched an administrative investigation for holding accountable the responsible persons who caused this problem to the business, said Pulaj.
Speaking about the contribution that the co-governance platform has made for building of a positive climate of doing business in Albania, Pulaj highlighted that 85% of the 160 cases filed to the platform have been resolved.
The online platform has not only been helpful for solving the filed problems, but it has also provided the necessary information on the services offered by the tax administration, the National Business Centre, customs administration or other public institutions./e.caushi/p.s./
