TIRANA, June 5 /ATA/- Natural beauties and cultural heritage of Albania are a major draw for foreign tourists from across the world.
At the beginning of tourist season, many tourists have chosen to explore the nature and history of our country.
Another charter plane with tourists aboard has landed in Rinas airport. This time it has brought tourists from Kiev, who were received by representatives of tourist institutions in a traditional ceremony.
The number of foreign tourists visiting our country is on increase with the first charters from Israel and Copenhagen arriving early June.
Tourism and Environment Minister, Blendi Klosi, stated that around 300 charter flights will land at Rinas airport throughout this tourist season, bringing tourists not only from Israel, Scandinavia, Poland, the Czech Republic, but also from England and Germany.
As an up and coming tourist destination, Albania continues to attract the attention and curiosity of many foreign tourists and visitors, who book tours to various cities of Albania during summer and winter. In summer, which is the peak of holiday season, the foreign tourists and visitors are particularly keen on exploring Albania’s seaside, mountain, lake, historical and cultural tourism.
