TIRANA, June 4 / ATA / -The Albanian government has starting the testing process of ecotourism package in Vlora region under the slogan “Where nature and antiquity go hand in hand”, in cooperation with local stakeholders to guarantee the authentic taste of the natural and cultural values of the areas.
The ecotourism packages testing stages will prove their sustainability after by using the ecological footprint.
Thanks to the DestiMED project, the protected areas of Vlora region have been included for the first time in an international initiative aiming at promoting ecotourism packages, their integration into the alternative Mediterranean tourism offerings as well as the new world markets.
