TIRANA, May 30/ATA/-Opposition battle is not only against the minister of interior, but it’s to dismiss government that hampers Albania EU integration, stated on Wednesday leader of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha.
Basha accused the government of protecting Interior Minister Fatmir Xhafaj over alleged role in drug smuggling and releasing the former minister Saimir Tahiri.
According to Basha, the government is taken hostage by crime and corruption. It doesn’t represent the interest of the Albanians, but of the Mafia and is the biggest obstacle for Albania’s European future./a.g/p.s./
