“100 villages” gravity centers to create development models

TIRANA, May 26/ATA/ – By Maela Marini/ – “100 villages” will transform into centres of gravity to develop models for household economies even when such a thing sounds unlikely.

This is what PM Edi Rama stated at a meeting with entrepreneurs and stakeholders of tourism and agro-tourism in the region of Berat, held in Peshtan.

“The programme of 100 villages includes some funds of Austrian-Swiss co-operation. We will soon hold a meeting with the ambassadors, because we want every state to take under patronage x village through these funds,” Rama said.

In the region of Berat, there are 5 villages which will serve as a meaningful model of development in all aspects.

Moving on from urban to rural renaissance is our challenge, PM said.
