TIRANA, May 25 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama and cabinet members explained the government reforms at a meeting with local residents in region of Berat, southern Albania, as part of the public accountability tour.
In his remarks, the government head Edi Rama noted that all regional employment service offices had achieved objective for job placements and sustainable employment outcomes.
PM Rama underlined that government recruitment service has helped more than 10 thousand jobseekers to find a job, saying that job offices all over the country will employ 25 thousand people within 2018.
“Our objective is for employment offices to employ 25 thousand jobseekers until end of year. This is a fact but such facts are not revealed on TV since they are interested to show the jobless people only,” Rama said.
The Premier said that lack of skilled labour force is the biggest challenge the government is facing.
“Training and developing the required professional skills to take up a job remains a problem,” he said.
