TIRANA, May 13 /ATA/ – French President Emmanuel Macron has positively answered to a letter from the Albania’s government head Edi Rama for a tête-à-tête meeting.
The meeting between Prime Minister Rama and President Macron will be very important for our country as the two leaders will discuss France’s position on Albania’s integration process.
Albania expects the EU leaders to back the European Commission’s recommendation to open the accession talks in the EU summit in June.
The meeting will take place at the Élysée Palace and it is scheduled to last Tone hour.
The series of meetings PM Rama is holding with EU leaders are a positive sign of the support our country is drumming in its efforts to open the EU accession talks.
The meeting with the President of France Emmanuel Macron follows a meeting PM Rama held with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel two weeks ago.
