PRISTINA, April 23 /ATA /- Our main challenge is the Kosovo integration and its membership in the UN and some other international organizations,” Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli stated.
In the roundtable meeting on the “Kosovo Foreign Policy: Priorities and Challenges” organized by the Pristina Institute for Political Studies (PIPS), Pacolli said that “during Kosovo’s path integration we are facing another challenge, Serbia’s opposition to Kosovo’s independence.”
The head of Kosovo’s diplomacy stressed that “we must work and lobby strongly to work with states that have recognized Kosovo’s independence and to further strengthen relations.”
Minister Pacolli underlined that “another challenge to our country is also the involvement of politics in the Kosovo diplomatic service. In the light of the beginning of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) reforms we will soon present the law on foreign service. ”
Pacolli also spoke about Kosovo intention to hold dialogue with Serbia, adding that this was another challenge.// KosovoPress/ k.s// a.i/
