TIRANA, April 17 /ATA/-By I. Vata/ – The European Commission on Tuesday recommended that the European Union opens unconditional accession talks with Albania.
The European Parliament member, also EP Rapporteur on Albania, Knut Fleckenstein, announced the EC decision via a Twitter.
“Congratulations! Am very happy. Big step forward for Albania! Unconditional recommendation from the EU-commission to open the negotiations. Albania deserves it! And now we count on the Council to agree as well,” Fleckenstein wrote.
