TIRANA, April 17 /ATA- I. Vata /- The United States support for justice reform, strategic partnership, investments of US military industry in Albania have been the focus of the discussions of the Albanian Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka during her official visit to the United States of America at the invitation of the US Secretary of Defense, James Mattis.
During a press release, the Albanian Ministry of Defense (MoD) stated that Minister Xhaçka was received in a special meetings at Capitol Hill by Senator Tom Cotton and congressmen Matt Gaetz and Jim McGovern.
During the meeting with senior US officials, Minister Xhaçka praised US support for justice reform in the country and also held discussions on the strategic partnership between the US and Albania, as well as the support of the US government for the Albanian Armed Forces.
Minister Xhaçka described the Integrated Surveillance in the Airspace System of great importance not only for Albania’s national security, but for the entire Alliance.
During her visit to the United States, the Albanian Defense Minister Xhaçka is expected to be received in a special meeting by US Secretary of Defense James Mattis./a.g// a.i/
