TIRANA, April 13/ATA/-To have a smooth progress of the tourist season, the government will implement an extensive plan.
During a meeting with mayors on preparations for the coming tourist season, Prime Minister Edi Rama informed that, “An inter-ministerial working group has been set up on this issue”.
“The new plan is an important and reliable instrument ensuring a good tourist season of holiday-makers having the opportunity of taking part in different activities”, added he.
The prime minister required a greater support for the municipalities that carry the burden of the tourist season as well as a better coordination of the work between the municipalities and the central institutions.
“Not all the municipalities can face the challenges alone. The municipal revenues and the contributions of the citizens into the municipality’s coffer cannot cope with the multiple increase of the number of residents in the area. Therefore, we have envisaged several concrete measures of support”, said PM Rama.
The prime minister mentioned the measures that must be taken against abuse with running water, fires and the noise pollution./r.e/p.s./
