TIRANA, April 6/ATA/-A new community social centre is added to the capital Tirana in the administrative units 4 and 8. The centre will be in support of the families in need and it is designed for improvement of community life.
Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj and MEP Knut Fleckenstein inaugurated on Thursday afternoon the newly-opened Multi-purpose Community Centre in the vicinity of Bregu i Lumit area where 170 households in need and 300 children of 4 to 15 years of age benefit social services.
Following building of the “Ardian Klosi” school and a kindergarten, the Multi-purpose Community Centre is the third object that Tirana City Hall has built in this area thanks to the EU support.
The new multi-purpose centre is built in the context of the project “Building of social, educational and transport infrastructure for the local communities” financed by the EU-IPA funds./a.g/p.s./
