TIRANA, April 5/ATA/ – “Annul tax on Nation’s Highway and release the detained people” was the message that the Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha conveyed to the opposition protest staged in Vora today.
Basha reacted to the statement of Prime Minister Edi Rama in the Parliament saying that it doesn’t solve the essence of the problem because the tax on the Nation’s Highway must be annulled, as he put it.
It’s 200 million Euros annually, said Basha.
The Chairwoman of the Socialist Movement for Integration Monika Kryemadhi reiterated the same stance saying that, “Protests will go on if the government doesn’t remove the tax on the Nation’s Highway and fails to release the detained people of Kukes.
Kryemadhi also demanded during the protest in Elbasan removal of VAT on the small business, restore of economic assistance to 20 thousand families, removal of property tax and reduction of the price of running water./a.g/p.s./
