TIRANA, March 19/ATA/-On Monday, Lezha court gave the security measure of house arrest on Mayor Fran Frrokaj and 11 other local officials of the property registry office and local government.
The mayor and the other local officials were detained on Friday on charges of abuse with office and efforts to appropriate public land along the coastal area.
Their detention followed months-long investigation launched by Prosecution Office into alleged abuse with public land along the coast./p.s./
