TIRANA, May 23/ATA/-The works have begun on the reconstruction of a 9-year school, which will provide better conditions for its 120 students, in Darzeza, Fier.
Mayor of Fier Armando Subashi shared a view in the social media of the works in this school where the laying of foundations is underway.
Subashi assured that, “The school will be ready for the new school year with better conditions, modern standards and guaranteed security”.
In December 2019, the municipality of Fier decided to demolish the 9-year school in Darzeza and build a new school.
The decision of the Municipal Council came after the engineers of the Construction Inspectorate evaluated that the school building is depreciated and that the earthquake of November 26 has taken it out of function.
About 120 students attend this school./p.s./
