Seven new Covid-19 cases identified, 23 more patients recover in Kosovo

TIRANA, May 17 / ATA/ –  Kosovo’s National Institute of Public Health reported seven new cases of the coronavirus on Sunday, bringing the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country to 985.

The Institute also said that 23 more patients recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of the recovered people to 736.

The Institute said that they have tested 202 samples, and seven of them were tested positive for the virus.

The positive cases were detected in the commune of Ferizaj (5), Gjilan (1) and Prishtina (1).

The National Institute of Public Health said in its daily bulletin that from 08 February 2020 they have tested 11.787 samples and 985 out of them were tested positive.

A total of 29 Covid-19 patients have died, and all had underlying health conditions.
