Exports increase by 9%/ Çuçi: Proof of high quality Made in Albania produce in EU markets

TIRANA, Feb 19 /ATA/- The increase in exports is not accidental, instead it clearly proves that our agricultural products are of high quality and compete in the markets of European Union countries.

This is what Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bledi Çuçi, said while referring to official statistics on 9% increase in Albanian agricultural produce during 2019 as compared to the previous year.

The Made in Albania exports exceeded ALL 37 billion at the end of 2019, compared to ALL 34 billion in 2018.

“Stimulating and strengthening collection points as key links between the farmer and the market, scrapping of VAT on agricultural inputs and machinery, investments in irrigation and drainage infrastructure, and support through the National Scheme of the IPARD program, are bearing to fruition,” -Minister Çuçi says.
