Margariti in the Netherlands: Exchange of experience and building of bridges of cooperation

TIRANA, November 5 /ATA/- Albania’s Minister of Culture Elva Margariti and Director of the State Central Archive of the Film Iris Elezi are paying a visit to the Netherlands.

They visited the “Eye Museum” of the film and got acquainted with the museum’s archives and restoration and digitization processes.

They also held a series of discussions on the film museum, cooperation with the State Central Archive of the Film and exchange of programs with the students.

“Yesterday, it was an extraordinary day of meetings, exchange of experience and establishment of bridges of cooperation. We started our visit to Amsterdam at the “Eye Museum”. In the company of the Honorable Ladies Guusje Korthals, the Dutch Ambassador in Tirana, Mélinde Kassens and Betteke de Gaay, we had the opportunity to meet with the Vice Director of the “Eye Museum”, Ido Abram and curator Giovanna Fossati. Impressive visits to the museum, some of the cinemas and the exhibition for Director Andrei Tarkovsky ”, said Minister Margariti.

Margariti added that, “We discussed the film museum, cooperation with the State Central Archive of the Film, exchange programs with students and other fields.
