TIRANA, October 12/ATA/- Farie Hasanaj from Durrës performed the free mammography in October and as she detected the disease in time carried out an immediate and successful operation that saved her life.
Prime Minister Edi Rama highlighted this case by saying that early diagnosis saves lives and therefore we have made it available to every woman and girl to perform mammography free of charge.

Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu visited patient Hasanaj at the hospital yesterday.
PM Rama said that, “Ogerta met Farie Hasanaj, who decided to perform a mammography (FREE Breast Cancer Test) and after detecting the disease in time, immediately carried out an operation at Durres hospital and saved from the fatal disease”.
The prime minister also took the opportunity to convey a message of awareness to all women and girls that, “Pink October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Whoever detects it in time escapes tragic consequences.”/a.a/ /a.g/p.s./
