TIRANA, October 8 /ATA/ – The European Union-funded Regional Democracy Program in Western Balkans (ReLOaD) seeks to strengthen the partnership between local government and civil society organizations in the Western Balkans with a focus on transparent civil society organizations financing across the region.
The second ReLOaD Regional Conference was held today, bringing together practitioners from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
In her welcome speech, Limya Eltayeb, UNDP Resident Representative in Albania, mentioned Tropoja among the 12 other municipalities that are doing very well in implementing projects under the Reload program.
She emphasized that Albania has an increased participation in these projects, which have proved successful.
While the Deputy Interior Minister Romina Kuko said, “Reload has served as a very good platform to bring together civil society and municipalities to address citizens’ needs”.
“The Interventions should be in line with the strategic priorities of the central government as well, ”she said./gj.mima/j.p/p.s./
