PRISTINA, July 9 / ATA /- The Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi demanded Monday the Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev the establishment of an initial communication between the two countries.
At the inauguration ceremony of Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Thaçi held a brief meeting with Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev.
“During the meeting with the Russian Prime Minister, Medvedev I briefed him on the recent developments of the Kosovo as well as the region. On this occasion, I demanded the Prime Minister Medvedev the establishment of an initial communication between our two countries. We also talked about the final phase of the dialogue for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as agreed that the potential agreement will bring long-term peace in the Western Balkans, “Kosovo President Thaçi writes on Facebook.
Kosovo President , Thaçi also met with EU Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship, Dimitris Avramopoulos, who confirmed that Kosovo’s process of visa liberalization would not be delayed. //a.i/
