TIRANA, July 6 / ATA /- The economic growth in the first quarter of 2018 is estimated at 4.45%, driven by energy, trade, transportation, accommodation and food service, agriculture or net taxes, the Albanian Finance and Economy Minister, Arben Ahmetaj stated.
Finance and Economy Minister Ahmetaj expressed his confidence that the level of economic growth could go even higher because of the investments being made and the growth of tourism.
Also, the Minister Ahmetaj stressed that, “the confidence in the Albanian economy grew by 3.7 points in the first three months of the year, remaining above its long-term average.”
According to him, the growth of the confidence in the economy relies on the turnover index that includes production and services. //a.i/
