Milena Harito honored with Order of Merit in France

TIRANA, April 6 /ATA/ – Milena Harito, former Minister of Innovation in Rama 1 govt. and currently coordinator of economic zone in the Balkans has been honoured in France with Order of Merit conferred on her by President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
Harito thanks the French Republic for appreciation of her professional competence as well as the results achieved in France and Albania.

The title was conferred on Harito by French Minister of European Union Affairs during a ceremony organized by French govt.

“The honour bestowed on me, the National Order of Merit is the epitome of the values that France represents in the world, values that have accompanied me over these years here. The values of respect, equality, openness, merit and work, values that are not only symbolic but also deeply embedded in every person with whom I have done a bit of journey in my professional or private life,” Harito said in her remarks during the ceremony.

Milena Harito has lived and worked for 20 years in France where she has held senior positions in large companies in private sector. She returned to Albania to contribute to SP in 2013 elections and was later appointed Minister of Innovation and Public Administration in Rama 1 government.
